Anyone here Tbone an Acura on Pickett and Mathey on Tuesday in FFX city? - May 27, 2010, 11:01 AM

Coworker was trying to cross pickett near pickett and mathey on tuesday.
Swears up and down that he looked. Crossed and a 33 year old male Tboned him.

biker wasnt speeding. However if the biker had swerved right, he would have missed my coworker. My coworker is feeling pretty bad b/c he knows he looked down the road multiple times.

His guess was that he looked and the biker turned off of mathey and got up to speed quickly as my coworker crossed.

Guy was on a new 2010 bike is all i know.
biker was not injured. braked pretty hard, rear wheel left the ground and spun into the quarter panel of the acura..
sux.

curious if that is anyone on there.

Your coworker did look. He looked for a car. A car is a threat. At the animal level, we look for threats. Bikes are 1)Not what he was looking for and 2) Not a threat, so it never registered as being "there".

That is what I said to him. He swore up and down that he is very aware of how you can look at a bike and not see it.

No one was hurt, sux b/c the car and the bike were brand new..

Picket has too many entrances, and the curves, and hills cause lots of blind spots.

I'm sure the lady who waited until I entered the intersection to make her right on red swore she looked too! sigh... and no, I hadn't recently switched lanes.
