The same that protects against deer. Smacked one going 45-50mph and managed to walk away with just a concussion and fractured eye socket. All in all I killed the deer, I can share the full story with anyone, was on .com. Wild animals are so damn unpredictable shit sucks. Glad to see him get up after the spill.

I would find leathers that resemble pilgrim attire. About a million years ago, a friend of mine and I were riding Joplin. He was on his BFN 1995 ZX6R. Rounded a bend and 3 of those nasty f*ckers were in the road. He caught the last one with his headlights, windscreen, and then upper torso. Bike was still ridable but he had the turkey's comb and head hanging from his helmet. Those things are feather covered waterballoons full of blood.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

- Nicolo Machiavelli 1469-1527
