Crash I heard about.. - July 24, 2013, 05:22 PM

About 4 days ago I found out this guy was doing a wheelie on the highway. He ended up tagging the curb and lost control. Not sure of his speed but I'm sure it was fast. They say he lost control and was pretty much dragged along the guardrail. Helicopter was called in and he was flown to the hospital with two broken arms, and two collapsed lungs I believe. He's still on a breathing machine. Also some sort trauma to the head. Last I heard he got surgery on both arms so far. Ill get some photos if I can.

Edit.. he wasn't dragged he slid into the guardrail.

Dude's name was Mike if we're thinking about the same incident. Same kid that posted up a video on FB a couple months earlier of him and his friends "racing" on the highway. Last I heard, he had broken both arms, had two bruised lungs, and was on a respirator. Can't say he gets a lot of sympathy from me.

I really do hope he has a full recovery.

It's unfortunate he did this to himself.

He's going to be fine from what I hear. Hopefully it will cause some of his "racing" buddies to reevaluate how they ride.

Unfortunately doubtful... I've seen friends watch each other OD and the next day they are out getting wasted again.. seems people only learn when it happens to them, maybe his closest friends might learn. The rest will say he just didn't have their skills or it was a one in a million fluke.

One can only hope, for their sake.

Yea that's the guy. Apparently his group of buddies been having a rough time lately. Every bike night for the past month has involved some sort of incident. I know this accident has giving sense to one of his friends who says he will alwayss wear gear now.

With gear you can go even faster at the same relative danger level. Sweet!

I love some of the hypocrites on here. Not one single person on this board I doubt can say they have never done a stupid thing on a bike. Yea he did stupid things and he is paying for it. To hope he dies from this is just being a jerk.

Its OK though...if you took an MSF class you are a perfectly responsible rider who does not make mistakes, hell if you are an instructor then you actually walk on water!

I don't think anyone has said they hope he dies

If it makes your outrage feel more righteous, feel free to continue making things up.
