CASCADE — A Hyattsville man was killed today in a motorcycle crash near Fort Ritchie, Maryland State police report.
Jason L. Farley, 29, was traveling north at high speed on Md. 481 about 11 a.m., police said, when he struck a guardrail at a sharp curve on Ritchie Road and was ejected from his 2005 Yamaha R6.
Farley, who was traveling with about nine other motorcyclists, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Trooper First Class Ward and Trooper First Class Brown, a reconstructionist, both of the Hagerstown barrack, are investigating the crash. Driver error and speed appear to be factors. The scene was clear and the road had reopened by about 12:45 p.m., police said.

Sorry to hear. There's a 491 there, but I don't see 481. Where is that?

I had the pleasure of meeting "Coffee" (Jason) from the MD Chapter of ShiftN Steel a few months ago. Although my meeting with him was brief I could definitely see the love he had for his family. He leaves behind a beautiful baby boy and wonderful fiancée (Jillian) aka Cashmere. Please keep them in your prayers.
