Got into a pretty serious wreck off of RT. 50 - October 25, 2006, 09:37 AM

Looks like James Luck strikes again. I was coming home from work (1 in the morning) when I saw a set of headights way behind me. I thought to myself, "Man, that dude is FLYING! I was in the right lane on RT 50 just pas the 295 split. My spider senses went off and my mind just said, "SH*T hes going to hit me!" He hit me on my left quarterpanel/bumper area and sent me straight into the guardrail. IWhen the front hit the guardrail, looks like I spun around and hit the guardrail again. My car ffinally stopped spinning betweeen the left most lane and the middle lane.

Yall know that road..I got out of the car as fast as I could becuase if there were any other cars on Rt.50, they were going to hit me because it was dark. Well, I should say, " stumbled out of the car. Guess what! There was a trooper sitting right there who saw the WHOLE thing!I I think I hit my head pretty hard on the window (I think).
he guy had to be doing about 100 when he hit me. He got locked up for DWI/DUI but he refused all tests. He was crying by the end of the night. The trooper put me inside her car becuase I didnt want to get hit again standing on RT 50. The guy stuck his head inside the window and said over and over, "IM SORRY! IM SORRY FOR HITTING YOU! ITS MY FAULT!"

Went to the hospital. Sent me for cat scans and xrays. The CAT scans came up negative.xrays same.
Im REALLY sore and Ill be home for a while. My car is DONE!

Got hit by a DUI early February. Cop said it's one of the worst roads for accidents, especially involving intoxicated or sleepy drivers. Same story basically, except the guy who hit me was estimated at closer to 50mph.

Glad you're ok.

So what kind of bikes are you going to get with the settlement money?

So glad you're alright! Take it easy, and watch for any other things that might start hurting.

Holy hell, James!
You lucky bastard! I'm REALLY glad you're ok and were in a car rather than on the bike! How fortunate for you to have a state trooper right there to see it and help and take the guys apology, etc.

I'm really glad things weren't worse................

Glad you are okay (for the most part). I got scared because I thought you were on a bike! Take care of yourself and get better!
