It happened.... Rage! - July 4, 2010, 10:43 PM

While in the process of parking my bike in the backyard for some STUPID REASON! I didn't put the kickstand down, and When I let go of the bike it fell on on me.
FFFFFFFFUFUFUFUFUFUFUFUFUFUFU! My left leg looks like it's been shot multiple times by a paint ball gun. Only damage to the bike was that the engine cover on the left side got all scrached up. If it wasn't for the frame sliders I imagine the damage would of been worse:/

ffffffffffufufufufufufufufufufufufufuufufufufufufu ufufufufufu!

Been there done that, glad the damage wasn't too bad. FWIW I've only done it once, so maybe that'll be your first and last time!

I hope it's the first and last time it happens, It's the worst feeling ever knowing that something you value so much is laying on it's side helpless Having to wait for my pops to get home to stand her up was the worst.

That shit happened to all of us at some point in time. The first week I had my bike I was laying on the ground cleaning my wheels and applying the reflective strips on the rear. I went to push the bike like a retard so that I could apply the next strip and heard a click and down goes the bike

I had one of those moments late at night, lucky me there was a plethora of spectators for my finest moment of the night.

Borderline dumped my bike in a city park near Denver trying to slide through the wet grass lucky my body landed under the bike when I washed out, the axle sliders did a good job aerating the grass...... and saved the bike from going into the creek.

First day I had my Ducati I had to ride it on the lawn to clear a car in my driveway. Went to put my foot down and there happened to be a hole right where my foot went. Dropped the bike into the grass. Only damage was a tiny scrape on the bottom where there must have been a rock or something. I promptly bought a small sticker and covered it up. I was pissed at myself all day.

Then again... That's just me.

On the internet... Everyone is an expert.

And now...The dancing Banana:

You are not the only one my friend. I did the same thing and my neighbor saw and was laughing at me. Needless to say I was pissed. Oh well, shit happens!

no worries dude. I have been riding 20+ years and LAUNCHED an R1 off the driveway when just warming it up; in front of neighbors who were applauding the destruction of one of my bikes and my injuries. A couple came out to see if I was ok when they saw all the blood (I think my head injury finally got to them) but most just politely laughed as I pushed it back to my garage; and I was actually pretty fucked up.

It happens - we cannot be as cool as our bikes look.
