I crashed and flipped my miata over this morning - November 17, 2013, 01:24 PM

To make this really short I was coming around a turn this morning from work and the car slipped on me and the front end starting going into the grass and up causing my car to slip to its side LOL :/ . Anyways good news is I came out lucky without a scratch. I was going maybe 20-35 miles an hour.

Anyways I got the car back a few months for 7500 and I only have liability insurance on it so its a loss for me pretty much . Looks to me as if it will cost at least 2500-3000 to fix so I am hoping to sell it to someone who might be interested in its parts or the car its self since the suspension and wheels seem to be just fine and its mostly body damage and as far as the engine goes well I am not sure .

Anyways I will post pictures of the car and damage later today when i get a chance

Maybe there is someone out there who would like to put it and build it back up and turn it into a track car!

Its a 2002 Mazda Miata SE 6 Speed and it was in mint condition before all this

Keep this in mind, all ye who are commuting in to work tomorrow, Monday 11/18 on a MC, as I am. Road glop, misty dank weather and rotting leaves have conspired to make the road as slick as snail snot. Drive/ride conservatively...

Man, glad you came out ok. There is more than 3K worth of damage there though. It might make sense just to keep it and slowly build it back up.

I'd list it on a Miata forum or a track forum. It'd probably be a good track project.

Important Safety Tip, Thanks!

Was out today, lots of leaves.

They'd probably jump on that at the Spec Miata forum:

Ya I am lucky at least I walked away with no injuries but ya I was planning on getting something different next summer so I def at the moment have no plans to fix it just want it gone and try to put the loss behind me :/
