Coming down from 34 to M street I made a right and see the green light towards key bridge and though "ohh great .. I wont have to stop" .. saw the Van in front of of me move to the other lane so I accelerated and bam .. saw this car standing still in the lane .. by instinct I tried to swerve after taking a quick look over my shoulder but I was coming a bit too fast to miss the car.. I layed it down hitting the front brakes .. my front cowl hit het rear bumper .. it had some scratches and my front cowl is cracked .. only if she had moved like a couple of inches my bike would have been fine :headband:

The DC cop was right there .. we exchanged info .. i didn't have my insurance info with me so he was going to give me a ticket for that but he later changed his mind .. I thought he was going to give me a ticket for failure to maintain control or something but he didn't .. awesome cop

Ohh and I am fine .. just a tiny scratch on the knee .. my jeans doesn't even have a hole .. spills close to the univ is embarassing

Now any ideas on how much would it take to fix her bumper if I wanna pay for it? its a black car

I high sided directly in front of a sorority house, with all of the girls lined up outside, a week after I started to ride. I had no training. I was an idiot gunning it when a cager did something sketchy and caused me to panic swerve. The problem remained that I had never practiced a panic swerve and I didn't have any idea what sudden inputs would do to my bike.

Don't know what to tell you Deep.

not again, homie!!!
the bumper will run several hundred just because of the patching, sanding, wet sanding, painting, clear cloating, etc.

good to hear that you're ok.

If it is just a scratch it depends on what she want done to fix it. ask her if she will take $100. The Bumper is going to be all F'ed up from drivn in the city anyway.
