Onboard video of my highside yesterday at Beaverun - October 23, 2011, 11:03 AM

Here is my onboard video of my highside at Beaverun yesterday. The video contains a few laps then the crash followed by the aftermath. No major injuries. I had saved a few highsides earlier in the day but had no chance to save this one. It was extremely quick and flicked me up in the air and landed flat on my back with no back protector. Guess who is going to start wearing a back protector.

Guessing the gopro got ripped from your helmet? Thought it was still attached for a while and was like, wow you're not moving for a awfully long time to not be injured.

That track is a blast and one of the few I actually like more when they don't run the dirt section. Probably the best supermoto track on the east coast. I still like E-town more because the speeds are higher but Beaver is a close 2nd.

That's not where I was expecting the highside. I just knew it was going to be that long left hand sweeper before the final turn. I almost always have a high side while shifting there.

Glad you're ok though.

The bike and I both landed on the asphalt. I had more damage than the bike.

I was about to say the same thing. I counted about 7-8 barrel rolls and said, well hell, he wasn't going that fast - or was he?

Yeah the camera snapped off when I landed. Here is another video from that day. This has no crash in it.

The track was starting to cool at the end of the day and I gave to much throttle coming out of the turn. The rear tire spun up and the rear end came around then it caught traction all of a sudden and the bike flicked me off of it. The bike stopped about 30-40ft behind where I stopped.

I was going probably somewhere between 40-50
