I dont know who it was....someone from this site.....was real lucky.
reason one, he didnt get charged
reason two, his bike didnt get towed (another member of this board happened to drive by the accident with his p/u)
reason three, hes still alive.... minus a good bit of epidermus.
hope youre healing dude!

please guys if you have gear wear it, shorts and t shirt is the same as being naked if you wreck on the asphalt

Sounds like a wheelie gone bad or reckless riding in general.

Maybe he stole the bike, used it to rob a bank and then crashed, the cop felt bad for him or was a forum member and decided to let him go for 1/2 the money!! Then he called his buddy and offered him 1/2 of his 1/2 for a ride home in his pu truck.

How about some info?

Can't choose between the R1 and the 10R so I am keeping both but settled with an 1198S when I came home

Keep it up!!!!!!!

I don't know if it has to do with being a .netter or being a biker in general. Yeah, there's a lot of people on the board that know eachother and want to help eachother, but if I had a PU truck, and I came upon a downed rider (even a stranded rider), I'd help him out regardless of whether or not he's on this site.
Either way, glad the dude is ok. Don't really care what he was doing, it sucks to go down.

This is in reference to my thread. I was the one that drove by, put his bike in my truck and dropped it at his house. Thanks to the EMS folks who did the loading and unloading.

I left the guy my business card in hopes he would call and let me know he is ok.. bummer...

Im going to guess that the originial poster of this thread is the nice LEO i spoke with who said he was on this site. Thanks for your generosity bro!
