Thanks to some .commer's for the support.

Get better soon. Following too closely is a bitch, specially when the car behind you cant stop like a zx6r. Most cars have crappy brakes.

Try to imagine that scenario happening again, this time the car behind is doing the same thing as the rider in front(following too closely, i am assuming anyway).

When you ride in traffic, leave plenty of space. And try not to be on the center of the lane. In case this happens, a car behind will instictintly aim left or right. I usually pick the left side of the lane. And when there is traffic I really put myself almost on the painted line next to the shoulder.

This has helped quite a bit, a car in front slammed his brakes. I had tons of space to brake, bu tthe big ole van behind me didnt, and hit the car in front. Im glad I wasnt there.

Get well

Glad to hear she's okay. She might be hurting now, but she's much better off than if she'd rammed the car in front of her. On a positive note, she's got the first part of a good stoppie down. Lots of speed and a good load and grab to bring the back end up quick. Just needs to get down the release/modulation part of it. She should take up Trick's offer and bring the bike back FrankenStunna style, then get the stoppies down tight.
