Rider Down This A.M. @ Virginia Square/GMU Metro - May 5, 2011, 05:26 AM

Drove into work just now and saw an accident scene right at the intersection of Fairfax Drive & N. Monroe Street. Appeared to be a Gixxer - Yellow/Black - being put on a rollback. Got into my office and my coworker came banging on my door, relieved it wasn't me (just sold my yellow/black Fizzy & still have my yellow SV650). She's come off the metro and saw the bike down, rider being strapped onto a backboard, and asked the po for a description. White guy with eyeglasses (like me) - apparently got t-boned.

Hope it's no one here and hope he's okay.

I can only hope some fast healing and minimal injury for that rider and some justice is done on the initiator of that accident.

thx man yeah it's worse now in Arlington but has to be expected -- a lot more dense than Bristow so it's been a bad change.

Also, demographic is younger in this area, prolly less experience driving overall, less patience, and in the guys more testosterone than all the fathers and shit in Bristow.
