There were two fatal wrecks during Labor Day weekend - September 4, 2007, 08:08 AM

Jonathan S. Dodd, 28, of Catharpin died yesterday shortly after his motorcycle crossed a double yellow line on Sudley Road in Prince William County, just south of Old Field Drive, and struck a guardrail. Dodd was declared dead at the scene of the 4:49 a.m. accident.

William J. Conti, 24, of Chevy Chase, Md., lost control of a motorcycle yesterday at 10:50 a.m. on U.S. 211, just west of state Route 274 in Page County, and struck a rock embankment. Conti was declared dead at the scene.

Both riders lived fewer years than I have. Hopefully they were good ones. RIP fallen brothers.
