Took a dive this morning thanks to a dumbass - January 13, 2011, 02:20 PM

The geriatrics scored one this morning when one in a silver Caddy cut me off, sent me sliding, and left the scene. My left radius bone is broken near my wrist but won't require more than a hard cast for 4-6 weeks. The SMC slide a long ways but didn't hit anything so it's fine, not even a broken brake lever. FG Jaunt jacket and pants are done, but the heated gear is ok. Helmet is ok.

I dumped because I had to brake hard as the car shot across my nose. The front immediately locked and tucked, and I fell hard, slid, tumbled, and rolled many times. I was like, "Geez, am I gonna ever stop?" Fackert was gone johnson by the time I stopped and got to my feet. My policy of putting distance betwwen me and the cars behind me payed off as noone ran me over.

I'm home with percocets for if I need them. Not in too much pain but taking the scrip ibuprofen to keep swelling and inflammation under control. I need to find an ortho that'll take my insurance. Then I'm gonna ice for a while and then try to do some work. Sucks typing with one hand...

How's my posting? Please direct all concerns and inquiries to DCSBN's chief content manager, Hollywood, via PM.

Hope you heal up quickly. Let me know if you need anything, John.
