WARPer down, but not serious - May 4, 2007, 08:00 AM

Went down on i think a oil slick on a offramp on i70 this morning. Im ok, bike mighjt have some probs. Will know more at lunch. Its on the back of my bosses truck. Luckily he saw me go down.

front tire got squirrely on the offramp, and I was doing normal speed. flipped me off and went over. think i bang up the tree a bit. Going to truck it home and check her out during lunch.

As I said, im not hurt, just my pride. ripped my khakis and the office girls like it

Still have the rip in the khakis but checked it out in the paring lot at work. Cept for some new scratches, its fine!
Was thinking of riding her home, but depends after work how it feels. i still think something doesn't feel right. We'll see. Boss said he can always drive me home with the truck atleast.
Thanks all for the support, least my pride isn't that bad.
And yeah, im missing Warp Zone tonight, might try to cage it if its not too late.

Now is the best time to check out where you went down, and with your memory fresh, determine if there was a course of action that would have prevented the incident...file that away in your head as a lesson learned.

So many time we empathize with those that have crashed, without emphasizing the lessons learned.

That being said, I hope the bike is okay

Been in and out of the office all day checking out the bike. Fairings have a lil more black taken off. Will take a pic when i get her home, but structurally its sound. Took it for a quick ride with my boss' truck in tow, no shimy or shake, rides straight. I swear it flipped over the front whel when i fell, but it seems all good. did lose some gas and noticed my oil level is low, probably just my fault there. Idiling though high. use to at 3k now its at 4k. Maybe from low oil? insight anyone?
