And check this out, there's a Tour de Cure Kickoff Event for the DC area participants. The picture on ADA's website for the event is a picture of Team Bam Bam rolling out of Reston Town Center last year.

Tour de Cure Kick-offs - Cycling - Health - Diabetes- Eventbrite

TOO EFF'IN COOL!!!

I see DucDuc Chad & MrsCastle. Can't remember who was in the back.

Anyways....there's still plenty of time to sign up for the event and join Team Bam Bam!!

I'd like to do the 65. 14 of the 16 on TBB last year did the 35. I know at least 4 of the 14 from last year are talking about doing one of the longer routes this year.

Gradually increase your milage, by maybe 5/10 miles every 3rd or 4th ride. Before you know it, you'll be good on the 50 mile ride.

But either way, I'm sure there will be other folks doing the 35-miler, in the event that I don't.

Do the 100, I'll need a riding buddy! Even if we only average 15 miles an hour, we'd be done in roughly 6.5 hours, but we'd prob avg a faster speed than that.

I'd like to, but I really want to ride with Sara. Who knows, maybe she'll be up for a century by then.

Guys, we have a loooong way to go before we reach our team fundraising goal. Last year we were one of the top teams, this year, I doubt we're listed. Please start sending out your emails to get those donations going. The ride is now less than 30 days away.

Wow, this going to be brutal for those of us who are unprepared

I just spammed my company, which is small, but the boss said he would match up to $500, so I'm hoping to see a $1000 bump on Team BamBam by the end of the week
