Lightbulb 1st Annual Banjo Run for WARP and other DCSB freaks. - June 7, 2006, 02:56 PM

Ride name: 1st Annual Banjo Run (like running from the guy with a banjo)
Date: TBD but on a Sunday
Route: Front Royal, Winchester, Luray and such
Duration: At least 2 hours
Pace: Kinda slow if my chop project is completed, moderate otherwise
Purpose: To ride and soak up the odd stuff out west

When I get my projects done I want to organize a western ride. Each person will lead a section of the ride to a funky destination. So like I could lead the part from the train at Skyline Caverns to the big grey dinosaur at Dinosaurland, another person could lead to that big red apple thing in Winchester, TrickinR1 could take us to the Wrangler factory and so on.

PM me if interested and let me know your proposed funky destination.

I could be down for this

remember - everyone's bike should be straight, if we end up in Page or Rappahannock counties, the will get stiffies.

anyway, I'll think of a funky destination

Don't know any funky destinations, but I'd be quite interested in this ride if I'm in town.

Love the idea!! Depending on when.. i'm in. Though i''ll be new to the area so I don't have a funky destination to lead to, yet

how about we stop at Finnigans in Harrisonburg. I miss that bar like Al Roker misses fatty foods. Or the BBQ Ranch.

Although I guess Harrisonburg is a tad far.

If we eat lunch it has to be at the Melting Pot (not the stupid fondue place) in Front Royal.

Right on. DCSB riders are welcome and this will be a fun ride. If that includes police, cool. Can’t wait to take a pic of bikes in front of that dinosaur in Winchester.

My personal disclaimer: Anyone that provides constructive criticism (hey there …you know that you really should have turn signals), comments (isn’t that foot clutch thing dangerous and what’s that brass knuckle thing?) and such towards my bike or my friends will be ignored and you’ll probably get a f you from me.

Finnigan's Cove is definetly freaky.

There is a great Galiker's Ice Cream place in Grottoes. Or JMU is kinda freaky. I guess.
