2009 TWT Suggestion Thread - April 1, 2008, 09:36 AM

Hey Gang,

I am working on a schedule with different spots that we have used in the past. If you could suggest the places you liked best and maybe some new ones it would be helpful.

Thanks!

I would ask for some MD places... but seriously... the few times we
get one up here all the MD riders no-show and it blows!

That said... I'm up for anything... have bike, will travel.

I am especialy digging Champs @ Fair Oaks... it was a good time for MotoGP and I got back to Germantown in about 25 min.

Yep we had 30 VA people roll upto Frederick and what 4 MD people show? I am down for Oasis in Woodbridge but lets make sure they know we are coming so they can be ready and have some specials for us. Also fast Eddies wasn't bad but to pay for every refill of soda was kinda lame. Boom if you need help in setting these up let me know. Also some of those that show up and eat and then don't pay or leave zero tip are gonna get outed in a big way!!!! We are all adults and need to act like adults!

-Carpool. I like both the Herndon and Arlington locations.
-Tim's Rivershore (just thought I'd throw that out there).
-Bungalow, either the one in Chantilly or Sterling (outdoor seating is bigger in Sterling).
-Fast Eddies in Centreville - they were willing to work with us last year but we never went back.

+1 on Champs - just about anywhere.

Frontpage was pretty cool last year... Or Carpool out there.

American Tap Room is pricey but nice.

That irish (O-something ) place in Centreville was always a good one.

Some place like Glory Days would be good too.

The Continental, Rosslyn. There's a nice, secluded, free upper parking deck.
Front Page, Arlington.
Carpool, Arlington.
Ragtime, Courthouse. (Though I'm not quite sure about this one...)

These are all close enough I could probably ride my track bike.

Grevey's was neat
Hard Times Herndon has tables, pool, and plenty o' parking
Glory Days
Errr, that place in DC that I actually rode to but can't remember the name of the place...that was a good time.

I don't even know why I bothered typing all this, I'm not going to make it to any of them
