68 and Sunny: Ride tomorrow - March 29, 2006, 09:14 AM

Anyone off tomorrow or interested in planning to be sick? I'm looking to do a decently long ride out west and south. This ride wouldn't be great for newer riders by virtue of the distance and the roads.

I hope that one way or another most of us get a chance to ride tomorrow.

I'd LOVE to go ride with you, Kyle!! I had a blast both times I've ridden with you (even on the gravel road protected by the Hound of the Baskervilles). Stupid work is always interfering with my personal life!

Where you planning on heading and what's the pace - still breaking in the new bike and it's been a while since I have ridden at sport bike speed. I was hoping to see a post like this to give me some encouragement to roll out of work.

West Virginia is what I'm thinking. The pace won't be wreckless, 10 over on well-travelled roads; whatever the road conditions dictate in the mountains without scaring local drivers.

Tanya, I'm disappointed.

I had an email from Angie about this as well...I would like nothing more than to call off and go ride HOWEVER...I have a pretty big "thing" at work to do which involves some of the big players and I'm heading it up so I can't get out

Sounds good to me - what time you planning on leaving and from where. I really don't want to get up too early and spoil a day off - know what I mean? I'll prolly roll in full leathers - I wanna hit some turns etc. Is 33 a possibility - I have always wanted to ride it.

I'm sorry.... my boss is out of town and I already procrasinated and put off today's tasks until tomorrow....
And by they way everyone: Kyle is a great leader! Pushed me kinda hard, but no wreckless (although he can do that, too).

Well, what's early? I'm glad you'll be wearing full leathers. Hopefully anyone that comes along will wear the best they have.

Ok, I was thinking around 9 would be fine. I'm in DC though, so leaving from whatever meeting point at 9:30 will work just fine. Where are you coming from?
