DC Lunch Wednesday 1/30/08 - January 24, 2008, 11:00 AM

Kenneth and I were planning to meet for lunch in DC, so I thought I would start a thread to see if anyone else was interest. Last time we met at Ella's Pizza on 9th between F & G and I was thinking of meeting there again at 1PM

http://www.ellaspizza.com/

But I'm open to other ideas as well.

And yes, I know there is a DCSN lunch thread, but I wonder how many people go through there often to see when there might be a lunch in their area. I thought a separate thread might be more efficient.

I know there are a bunch more of us around this area. It's time for a DCSBN lunch!

Sounds good to me. Is there motorcycle parking there? Also is there room to put my riding gear and helmet?

I'm not positive about motorcycle parking right there, but there is motorcycle parking within walking distance. There is some right outside of my building in the 1400 block of G St. and I will be walking to Ella's.

This site has a list of motorcycle parking, but I don't know how current it is:

http://mayoreric.com/moto/parking.html

Looks like there is also some at the 600 block of G street which is a little closer.

I don't know about a place to put gear.

I'm happy to meet another place if you have another suggestion. Ella's just happens to be walking distance for me with good food and better service than Fast Eddie's. Although we did promise the guy to go back there again, didn't we.

I'm flexible.

We'll provide your excuse for the long lunch. You provide the layers of gear! If it helps, I ride to work every day (except most snowy days! ), and I think Dodge does too.

It will probably be a game-time decision but I'll try to make it.

Cool! Looks like we'll have a big crowd. I'll call over there and see if we can get a spot reserved for us.

I count nine possible:

Me
Kenneth
Dodge
Thwack (probable)
roadrunner
Shawn (probable)
James
Paulio
Lisa

Let me know if I missed anyone.
