Smile Fall Foliage Ride (10/24/10) report, w/pics - October 25, 2010, 11:33 AM

What a great weekend!
Blew outa work a few hours early Saturday at about 4pm, and
headed down 340 to Front Royal.

Stayed in great B&B!
(pm me for info)

B&B was perfect!

Fireplace in the room.

Beautiful house, with big pourch and rocking chairs.

Best of all... an on site "pub" with beer on tap!

After an absolutely awesome breakfast at the B&B, we headed down Skyline. About 10am... perfect weather and not very crowded at all.

Cut out on 33 West and headed back North towards Front Royal.

Hit up Spelunker's for some grub... then home.

Couldn't have asked for a better weekend... weather, B&B, bike, company... just perfect!

Everytime you cook up...a little boy gets crushed by a bridge. -JTG40cal

that's unpossible, i rode by the entrance to skyline drive near harrisonburg after having lunch at the log cabin bbq, and the lines must've been at least 10 cars deep in all the lanes to get onto skyline drive. that place looked packed.

I tell the truth... rode right up to gate paid and got on. I got on in Front Royal... not Harrisonburg. Maybe folks get up earlier down there. As a matter of fact at about 3pm the Fr Royal entrance was packed, and with huge lines.
