How'd ya'll end up? Dean and I hit 211 then rocked on down to 33 where it was windy, wet and cold. Saw a truck with the cab caved in like it flipped over on the way going up 33

Wow lol our day wasnt as eventful but we did have one rider go down with his bike into a large muddy ditch. Lowslided exiting a corner. Bike wasnt too beat up suprisingly. Mirrors need replacement and oil filter needs replacement but that was it for the most part.

It was fun getting the bike out of the ditch though. Other than that we had pretty good ride. Got pulled over on 211 by a state trooper and all of us got out of inspections tickets and i got out of that and speeding.

We didnt bother entering skyline. The line at the entrance was ridiculous. Even apple houses line was enormous. Went all the way to the bathrooms at the end of the store.

We all broke off after that. All in all pretty awesome day

Yeah that line was bonkers to get it in to the park. Think it was even like that on the way back around 3

A buddy and I passed by him on 211 on the way to 231 to head south. Sorry to hear you guys got nabbed.

We were at the Haymarket Sheetz around the same time your group was. You may have pulled in behind me, I was on the blue SV650S. My buddy had the white VFR800 (was already there when I arrived).

I deff remember the white vfr800. It's all good though. We all got away with it and he was nice enough to walk on the road and stop traffic for all of us as we were getting ready to roll out.

Having a few law enforcement personnel on the ride helped, but having a trooper that was trained by the same person that pulled us over helped the most.

skyline was a mess on sunday too with lines of cars way past the entrance. front royal was crawling with cops. fort valley road was empty though, beautiful and made for a great sunday ride.

one of my most memorable group rides was years ago when over a dozen of us got pulled over in the little town of The Plains in virginia. one of the guys in the group gets on his cellphone, hands the phone to the trooper, all of a sudden the trooper gets back in his car and peels rubber out of there.

I was coming down the mountain as they were heading up. Rack of those bastards clogging up the road.

Not sure if this dude is on here, but I found this. If you look towards the end of the video you see the crash, if you look a bit harder you can see the rider hits a bump... thats what caused our Ducati friend to go down as I believe he was already in mid corner...
