Green Ridge Ride 4-17 - April 15, 2011, 10:45 PM

My buddy and I are going to head up to Green Ridge this Sunday to do some trail riding.

He is an experienced off road rider who is trucking his WR250 up there.

I am a complete off road noob who is going to ride his F800GS there, take the mirrors off and see if I can keep from killing me or the bike.

Our plan is to head out from Leesburg around 08:00. I am hosting a party at my house Saturday night so start time is sort of tied to the amount of S-face I achieve.

We are going this Sunday because some folks have told us the perminent closure of the Off Road Vehicle trail is imminent.

Want to hit it before it goes away.

We are willing to set a meet up spot if anyone else is interested in joining.

So we made the trip out and learned two things.

1) The stock pirelli tires on my F800 are for road only. I know it says trail on the side but that is an effing lie.

2) Its a nice trail system but it is rocky as hell.
