GRIFFIN RUN, RAIN OR SHINE! - May 22, 2015, 08:24 AM

The last one was rained out (according to the weather guy), so this time I'm going rain or shine. It's happening!

I've got some free little goodies that Tucker Rocky gave me, so the first 5 people to show up will get a nice little surprise!

We are going to do another Noob run at the end of the month. As usual, we will have a pre-riding class on group ride etiquette and pre-ride motorcycle inspections.

Here's the deets:

May 31st, 0915
Class starts at 0930.
Stands up at 1000

The route is a Modified Griffin run. Should take about 1.5 hours to get there and a little less to get back. Very technical, but very doable for the new rider, at a newb pace.

I will need at least one experienced rider to volunteer for a sweeper. R1, I'm looking your way, buddy.

GRIFFIN RUN, BIOTCH!

Good on ya for hosting these rides. Bet it will be a good time!

Group ride etiquette. Ya know, that's something I should probably brush up on. My rides always were a bit loose in that regard. Pre-ride speech was "Don't crash, no asshattery in or near towns, no peeling off without letting someone know, and no passing the leader unless you can make it stick."

If I didn't have an open house to deal with that weekend I'd try to make this one. Y'all have fun!

There's bold riders and old riders, but damn few bold old riders.

I'm interested in joining your ride but maybe pressed for time.

Can you estimate when the ride will be over?

And are we meeting at 15514 Lee Road, Chantilly VA?

Looks like it's going to be a great day!

Please come with a full tank of gas. Our first stop will take about an hour and a half.
We will be stopping at the Griffin for some much deserved food and perhaps a frosty, cold beverage.
Can I get a roll call please?
