Motorcycle Roads (WV): Valley Loop

It was pretty boring and not very technical. Mostly gentle curves, nothing too exciting. Lots of space to go fast though and beautiful scenery.

I live on the other side of Sleepy Creek. If you wanted to extend that loop to the west there are some decent roads.

I'll hit you up when I head that way. So you're closer to Shenandoah?

Cool. I don't ride much but can't bring myself to sell my FZ1. I have the Raider on CL now.

Hey Sal. I have a set of Hot Grips heated grips fir 7/8" bars. They are 3 wire. I bought them years ago for my ATV. If they will work on your bike, you can have them. I'm not sure if motorcycles take different ones.

Edit: it doesn't look like they will work on motorcycles.

I've put 300 miles on my bike in 2 years lol, I don't ride like I used to. My hope is to convince the wife I need something fast that has 4 wheels.Been pushing for an Aerial atom, but it's not "practical". New Mustang was suggested but needs forced induction.

I tell you, I'm not much of a current Mopar fan but when I went to Houston for training last year, I hooked up with a Raider forum member with one of the Hemis. I'm not sure which one; I think it had an 8 speed automatic. That this was scary fast and torquey (if that's a word). I'd look hard at one of thise if I were in the market for a new muscle car. I think it was a Challenger.

Thanks for the offer! I've got my own heated grips though.

Isn't there a 2.3L turbo mustang? I didn't know they sell Atoms around here. Caterhams are probably just as good. And they have a "trunk" so that's a check for practicality lol

I think there is a smaller ecoboost mustang, but I would rather but twin turbos on the coyote motor, certainly more fun

TMI Autotech down at VIR is licensed to build them for the US market. They aren't really street cars and MD is a PITA about tagging something. Might be better off buying a used one with a title/registration already.

If you hope a car will give you the same thrills as a bike, be prepared to spend about 20X a year more for it, and the soon realizing you can't really do much with it unless you take it to the track, something I assume you don't have time for... Keep a bike.

That's just for the gas cap, and whatever it happens to be attached to.
