Talking Joint-Base Andrews Motorcycle Extravaganza - 15 July 2011 - JB Andrews, MD - June 7, 2011, 09:44 AM

Fellow Riders...

Military Service and Motorcycle Riding go hand in hand for a lot of us that where the uniform.

On 15 July 2011, Joint-Base Andrews is holding its 1st Annual Motorycle Extravaganza!

We want to spead the word about safe motorcycle riding and build comradarie among the riders here on base and within the National Capitol Region.

If you are interested in sponsoring the event, passing out info on your club or just want to attend, reply to this thread and we'll link up.

Last military "motorcycle" event I went to was a bunch of cruiser riders with no gear other than a reflective vest yelling at sportbike guys for their unsafe bikes and lack of a PT vest. We then went on a ride where most of them crowded other riders, rode side by side in turns, and smoked while riding, throwing their butts everywhere.

It was so awesome

Yeah, I know the mandaatory safety is a turn-off, but a lot of the regs gave been updated (bright colors during the day; reflective mandtory only at night, etc).

I'll have more information up as I get it.

After semper ride at the pentagon.... the Air Force has to reach, a bar that is now unattainable for them.

What they should do is piggy back or join semper ride.
