good luck.....

work on real road captains...breaking down the groups and having a command...

its one thing to go out and ride with a group of your friends....
another to go out and do a group ride...certain things are expected...

no different than going on a site seeing tour vs. someone just pointing out where to go..

No offense, and props to you for finally realizing that your ride fee was ridiculous, but you may want to lay low on this forum for a while. You haven't exactly made a whole lot of friends here nor does anyone think your club has its act together so you're gonna get a bunch of smartass responses every time you post a group ride. Just my

OP had a wack idea about how to drum up money for his club and has dropped it.

I ain't gonna dog anyone for posting up a free invite to a ride, it's within the spirit of a MC forum.

I say let it go. That my 2 cents.

There's bold riders and old riders, but damn few bold old riders.

This is about where I stand.

My only apprehension is that his recent track record isn't that great for getting participants home in one piece. Granted there was nothing he could do about the rider who tragically passed, but when that happens after your ride you need to not start off your ride report the way he did.

We lost a rider after a ride we had on this past July 4th. I would have never thought of starting off a ride report the way he did.

I also had zero interest in posting up any new rides for quite some time after.

Give it a little bit of time to have us hooligans relax. Post up some ride reports that are actually successful and then start posting your rides more frequently.

My goal in 2014 is to be less of a dick. You gotta start somewhere.
