The good news is most folks were at least predictable and I didn't have any close calls.
huge Speed and Skill difference. This is on a 2006 Honda F4i with me at 230.

Yeah, that is pretty much what I was looking at except I was not able to pass most folks on the straights. I took a little more care in passing than that and even took to hot pit once to get out from behind a 12 bike deep stack once.

Anyone from DC heading to the track for the entire weekend?

My transportation arrangements have become messed up and I don't have a way to get there.

If anyone would be considerate enough to get me to and from there I'd REALLY appreciate it and am willing to compensate you $$$ of course

Edit: I'm in Alexandria, close to Del Ray and Potomac Yards.

Right now I doubt I will make the CCS weekend in August.

Flying out to Sturgis for work and returning August 11th.

My bike is still in shambles from my crash and wont have much time during the work week to patch it up. Still have to resolve the stalling issue.

This summer has been a total blow for me. But at least I have acquqired all the track equipment and means of transportation to get to & from the track.

Still havent given up on making that weekend but am bring realistic

last race I did was WERA 2014. then did track days from that point until this year...

jumped back into racing to get the feel for it again... did the June weekend, and just finished this weekend at summit main.

I def have the bug back, but still working things out. older and body been torn up a lot more since my last race weekend.

I think ill do VIR CCS round and some TDs also. But next season I plan on doing roughly 70% of the CCS rounds.

b4 this weekend the last CCS round I did was 2012. I was not a huge fan of CCS originally compared to WERA...

mostly the pay to grid, and license end on Dec 31st vs. for a year after purchase.

But i have to say, I like how it is right now. I saw a ton of old friends from wera these last two rounds, and met a bunch of new friends also.

so cant wait.

feels good to be back into it. I just need to get back up to speed...still 2 seconds off.

June round....
I had my old ass 2007 Astar suit...it was cutting me at the limbs....
I dropped 60 lbs since march 2018.
10 lbs. after june round. Also got new suit for August round.

well more like 17 months. almost a year and a half. One of my biker friends started about the same time and he dropped 108 lbs so far.

We both did it with cutting back food wise.

For me i paid $350 for a nutritionist and the key item she focused on besides the typical carbs, n shit was making sure that in every serving of whatever I eat it has less than 7 grams of SUGAR.... Nothing and I mean NOTHING has under 7 grams.

All of these Diet, low cal and so called healthy items have on average 20 grams and above. Even natural fruit is kind of off the table unless you can portion it down to less than 7 grams.

I do not follow her complete program... I will still eat at ..say Long John silver, but ill make sure the rest of my food for a few days is hard core to the plan...

My game plan was to drop 70lbs.

Go from 264lbs down to about 195 lbs.
But at 207 lbs right now.. I think I can get down to 185 lbs for next race season.

I feel the difference in my flexibility, but these last two race weekends I realized I am weak...upper body wise... I still have my core strenth , but this off season I will have to get back to my power yoga, and using my own body weight to build....push up, chin ups, sit ups.

Because on the track I was getting tired after about 3 laps.

Im still 2+ seconds off my normal times, and this is by far the best summit has ever been in my 14 years on her...so i should be way faster.

Im just excited to get back into racing again.... after WERAs pitiful 2014 grids and thirst for money...i hung up racing and just did track days...along wtih family stuff.

looking forward to VIR.
