POSTPONED*******POSTPONED POSTPONED*******POSTPONED

DATE: TBD I will know by sunday and will post up a new thread

*UPDATED* 4-16-11 *UPDATED*

Would you like to get out and enjoy a day in the country with people like you? Are you new to the area and don't know any good roads? Are you a beginner who is looking for people to ride with? Do you want to take your signifigent other out for a nice relaxing day?

When:
MAY 15th at 8:30AM
1st group roll out at 9:15AM

Where:
Bloom Haymarket, va

This is going to be a very noob friendly ride. The route will be entirely in fauquier county. There will be absolutly NO WHEELIES, RACING, BURNOUTS, OR OTHER FUN THINGS. The pace will be slow. It will be relaxing. We will be going no more than 5 over the speed limit.

The route will be full of twist and turns, there will be NO highway slabbing. I have a four to five hour route planned out with a lunch break right in the middle. I would like to get a count of who is in so I can let the restaraunt know how many roughly. The start and the end point will be the same with only a little bit of backtracking. Otherwise we are on all fresh new roads.

As you may know, fauquier is all over sportbikes these days. If you come, be prepared to be pulled over for no reason. Make sure you are clean and clear and that your bike is legal. I am putting this ride on for two reasons-
1. To share some great routes with newer riders, and to help people link up with others who enjoy the same sport.

Structure:
I have spoken with the Mohawks about getting some support with putting this ride together, and they agreed. Thank you! So, what I plan on doing is groups of 15 roughly. 1 leader, 1 sweeper, and 1 monkey inthe middle(sorry Turkish, not that kind of monkey in the middle) Each group will leave in 5 minute intervals and meet at the lunch spot. I am going to post the route here so if you want to look at it you can.

*UPDATE BELOW*
The route has changed, the lunch destination has changed!

Because I have gotten so much positive feedback about the Noob rides Todd and I put on two/three years ago, we will be bringing those back!
If it aint broke, then don't fix it. I have called MOMS country kitchen in front royal, YES MOMS!!!! and set it up. We have the back room again! They will have a breakfast buffet set up, as well as the regular menu to choose from.

The new/old route will make for a little bit of a longer ride also! We will be taking one short break in the middle of the ride to lunch for those who smoke. Where the break is planned, there are no stores and it is a gravel lot. Pack whatever drink you may want. We should be trickeling into MOMS at about 12:00. Then the fun doesnt stop there. On the way back, MORE TWISTIES! We will mosey back to Haymarket via backroads. Those who need to cut out at MOMS can. 66 is an easy find.

This is THE route.
You may need to scroll up to a little to see it. Find haymarket.

noob ride - Google Maps

If Anyone would like to help in any way, please PM me. I will need all the help I can get on this one. Please note, that if you are leading, I need you to please respect the fact that I want no BS going on. We are here to prove to the community that we are not all bad.

I am looking for leaders and sweepers and monkeys!

THANKS!

Taty
