Talking Newb Ride in MoCo 2 - August 3, 2009, 11:40 AM

Ladies and Gents, I have for you... (drum roll) Newb Ride in MoCo #2!

Same as last time only 90% more gravel free. This will be a very relaxed and chill ride, 2-up friendly.

The route will be similar to the previous one, haven't finalized one yet and I'm elastic with routes anyway. I've been playing around with google maps, and went on a few rides. I'll post when I finalize smth. I expect the ride to last about 3 hours, likely to be able to do it on a single tank of gas.

It's too early to make a call on the weather, I consider the ride to be ON unless it is expected to rain during the ride. Wet roads == slower riding (and probably shorter).

Wear leathers for your safety if you have them, I plan on keeping everyone as safe as possible.

Saturday morning (9AM), meet at the Shell on Rt28, right off 270 - exit 6B. Please let me know if you plan on joining, it helps me plan ahead.

If I stay in town I will be there. Yeah love me some 10% gravel. We should all do a Skyline ride sometime soon too

I've been thinking about organizing something out there too. Last time I went was November, slabbed all the way to Front Royal and froze my @$$, but had a good time nonetheless.

I'm also looking at routes up near the PA border, Catoctin mountains area, and Western MD with a mix of WV and VA.
