NOOB RIDE MAY 15TH Things you need to know!! - May 8, 2011, 01:58 PM

POSTPONED*******POSTPONED POSTPONED*******POSTPONED

DATE: TBD I will know by sunday and will post up a new thread

Please show up in whatever gear you have!

Please show up with a full tank of gas!(if this means getting there early to fill up do, remember sheetz is going to be packed)

Please check your tires, brakes, chain, etc. This is going to be a longish ride(4-5 hours)

Please respect my wishes when I ask for no burnouts, no bouncing off revlimiters, no wheelies, no speeding, no acting a fool!

This ride is going to be huge and I need each and everyone of you to help it go off smoothly!

Please make sure your bike and yourself are legal!!!!!!!! Expect to be hassled by some of the finest people in the area.

If going slow and sniffing flowers is not your idea of a good time, then you may not want to show up. WE WILL NOT BE PASSING CARS! WE WILL BE DOING THE SPEED LIMIT!!

Please be there by 8:30 ready to ride. With this many people, there will be some pre-ride organizing that needs to happen!!!

Most importantly, Be Safe and have fun!!!

Leaders will be:
Me
Akeel
Nick
Todd
Brian
Ik
Hawkeye
David
Anyone else?

Sweepers
Lucky
Adam
Scott
Shawn
Nic
1Bronco
Leo
Matt
Anyone else?

Lunch at Moms country kitchen in Front Royal(confirmed)
10 bucks should be good for lunch, bring more if you love to eat. They will be doing a breakfast buffet for us.

We will be filling up in Front Royal before heading back to Haymarket, so plan on two tanks of gas.

Expected return time... 3 or 4

Anything else I missed that any of the leaders want to chime in with???

Again, thanks to everyone for their help in making this a GREAT RIDE!

I'm claiming Adam as my sweeper.

8:30am to 4pm is a little much for noobs. Be prepared for the early bailers.

There are plenty of easy places to bail, We will be on 7 at 1 point, 50 at one point, 66 at a couple of points. All I ask is that they let the leader or sweeper know they are bailing!

And yes, you can have Adam behind you if you want.

I hope he will respect the fact I want this to be a slow ride.
