Thumbs up North Beach Crab run May 17th sunday - May 13, 2009, 08:16 AM

(Not My Ride...but I will be on it...Posting up for my Boy thats hosting the ride)

Winter has past and the cold long gone. its that time again for the North Beach Crab run ride.

Like every year we will be meeting up at the Exxon gas station in Bowie off rt 301.

For those whom never been on this ride, we will be riding the back roads all the way up to North beach and then eating at Abners crab house. Every one is invited to join, You can be at any skill lvl noob or advance there will be a group that matches your lvl of comfort. So come on out folks this is a great ride and a great opportunity to meet other riders from the .com family.

I will need leaders and sweepers if the turn out gets big like it normally does, so any help would be appreciated .
The pace will be slow to med paced. If there is a big turn out of advance riders an advance paced group will be formed.
The back roads leading to North beach will be a mix of twisties from sharp slow turns to fast long sweepers with the accational strights. This ride will keep any one at any lvl happy.

Like every ride I set up there will be a safety meeting before the ride then after groups will be formed.
If you have any questions that have not been answered above please feel free to post them up.

I cant make anyone have gear on but it is strongly recommended
Come on out and lets have a GREAT TIME !!!!

Ride itinerary and things to know below
-Ride invite= EVERYONE
-Ride groups and pace= Beginner, medium, and advance groups
-Meet up time and location= 10:30am Exxon gas station 16450 Harbour Way, Bowie, MD 20716 . Gas up and be ready to leave by 11:10am
-Abners also have other things to eat if seafood aint your thing.
-Ride starts at exxon and will end at exxon. Out by 11:10 and back by 5pm

Please post up if you are going, and for those who know the ride rt and would like to lead please note it. Any one can sweep just need volunteers.

Would love to go, but God comes first. Have fun everyone. I'll only be an hour behind the group, so perhaps I'll make it for the food and return. Can sweep on return.
