Operation Octagon was awesome and a success for a first time try at an MMA event. Definitely needed a larger facility but I had a great time. Some of the fights were really good and some of them sucked because they ended so fast usually due to a rear naked choke or an arm bar. However, the girl fight was the best by far and I think the UFC should come out with a WUFC . I am really looking forward to the next event.

Didn't feel like buying tickets online without a preview of the event or the turnout. It was "sold out" when I got there so no show for me.

Seemed to be a good turnout, I was really surprised - parking lot was full. They definitely needed more staff working the entrance. Poor attendees were left freezing their assess off waiting in line outside at 45 minutes after the doors were supposed to be opened.

Plenty of cops hanging out near the doors, no cops directing traffic in and out of the lot onto the main road. Made for interesting/risky manuevers by motorists.

Anybody else actually see the fights?
