Penske suspension seminar - December 1, 2010, 10:17 AM

MRP Motorsports will be hosting a suspension seminar December 11, 2010 with Penske Racing’s Mike Himmelsbach. This is a great opportunity to learn how these products work, see why you would need them, and the knowledge to make them work for you. Penske Racing Shocks Mike Himmelsbach will be presenting the following information on Penske’s motorcycle shock line:

Shock types and Features
Piston designs and valving
Spring rates
Sag setup
Tuning

Seminar Attendees are encouraged to bring their motorcycles with them. After a lunch break we provide suspension baselines, component identification and adjustments on their personal motorcycles.

Seminar will begin at 10am. It will be hosted at MRP Motorsports 8154 Ritchie Hwy Pasadena, Maryland 21122. Those interested in attending can register by emailing parts@mrpmotorsports.com or call 866-599-5205

Sounds like a cool event but 4 hour round trip ride on the bike in 40 degree weather would be a little much.

The main reason that we are suggesting you bring your bike is to give you a chance to get a baseline sag set-up and kinda give you as the rider an idea of what things the seminar relates to on your own personal ride.

+1 on this..You also have to remember, most bikes are set up at the Dealer by someone probably not being paid enough! Everyone set up is different. Setting up your ride to YOU in one of the most important things to do. Suspension is the NUMBER ONE GAME!!
