I'm in between a rock and a hard place. My rear tire is almost shot, and I'm not sure I want to put on the new ones and ride a full day before going down to the gap. We'll see what my tires look like by the end of the week.

The route should be 360 miles round trip. I think you should be good with the rear tire you have on it now.

Yeah, I'm going to run the tire I have mounted now. The weird thing about this tire is that it seemed to wear down fast but once it got close to the wear indicators, it stopped wearing so fast. I also reduced engine braking by clutching before stops and trying to not get on it too hard in the straights. Wheelie practice has been put on hold too. I'm milkin' it!

Good reason to scrub the new one in before the gap
