Ride, 2/3 - January 31, 2008, 02:00 PM

Date February 3rd
Time - 11:00am
Destination Frederick
Place - Cheveron, Point of Rocks, MD
Length 100-150 miles
Pace TBD

Weather.com is calling for low 50s and sunny on Sunday and so far this winter I have found their forecasting to be a bit conservative so Im hoping for mid to high 50s. I havent done a lot of riding this winter so Im a bit rusty, the weather will be a bit chilly and Im not sure about the road conditions so the pace will be more of a relaxed pace to enjoy a few hours on the bike before the Super Bowl.

For those that are worried about the Super Bowl I will be back in plenty of time and will ensure that the ride ends soon enough to give everybody enough time to get to their pre game parties. Also for some reason if the weather take a turn for the worse Ill make a weather call and post it on .net by 9:00am the day of the ride.

weather

I love to ride with you.... But I'm just riding around Calvert County on the 3rd... Are going home for the Superbowl in Frederick MD? If you are going to stay local let me know.

Be careful points north and west of here if that's where you go. Regardless of the temps on that day, they are calling for a possible 3/4 inch of ice out there tomorrow morning and the road crews will no doubt over react and lay copious amounds of sand in the corners that will still be there when you go.

McKune (Dave) is in also, he would post himself but I think he only checks the site once every other lunar eclipse.

I appreciate the heads up; road conditions here in Frederick will be questionable until mid spring or so.

Drop some seafoam in the tank. If it's like my bandit, it'll run rough for a while. After about half a tank, you should notice an improvement. Hope you can make it.
