Thanks for the heads up! The "loop" is basically my back yard so I have just about every tar strip and crack in the road memorized by now.

They were laying down some new ones last week.

You got any takers for this ride?

Those bastards are slippery, too. We were out there a few Fridays ago when the crews were laying those things down...freakin' sketchy.

Last week I was so amazed at how sketchy they felt that I stopped to examine them. They are not so much slippery as very rubbery. You can push your boot into them and smear them. Then they sorta contract back into their original form.

I know, I pay more taxes than ever but yet the road repairs get worse and worse. I've done the route twice this weekend, I'm still feeling out the new suspension setup anyway so no records will be broken anyway.

Charlie, I'm going to try to make this (depends on work). If I'm there I'm in, if not roll without me.

Another good POR ride. Vega showed up and led the 1st half then had to bail, DonnieCS took over and did a damn good pace for someone who hates leading.

The Bogert also came out. He's a solid rider, no issues, rode his own ride. He was a hair off the pace but he's only been out that way a couple of times. As far as I'm concerned he's now on the "private ride" invite list.

All in all a great day.
