Ride Sat. 5/3 - May 1, 2008, 12:56 PM

Wifey (wildflwr) and I got a sitter this weekend so we're riding - anyone is welcome to join.

Location: Sheets, Haymarket VA
Departure Time: 9:30 am

Pace: Noobish/beginner/slow - might be some sections where the group spreads out a bit, but for the most part this is 10-15 mph over.

Duration: ~4-5 hours

Description: Not posting exact route for obvious reasons, but noobish pace over not so noobish roads. I'll be sure to notify everyone when there are nasty turns coming up. Part of my reason for making this a slower ride is that I'd like to explore a couple roads I've never been on, which means a slight chance of getting lost (really only a small section I've been curious about for awhile, so not truly "lost").

Lunch should be somewhere around Front Royal.

After lunch, depending on our pace, ride may be extended or shortened as needed. I anticipate being back in Haymarket around 2:30-3pm.

Anyone wishing to break from the group to go to Summit Point will be able to do so conveniently when we hit Rt 7 (it will be about another 10-15 mi. from there).

when are you going to have the house party/cookout to get rid of all the beer and liquor you brought back?

I really have no idea. I was thinking a motogp get together, but those are Sundays. I reserve heavy drinking for Friday and Saturday to allow plenty of time for worshipping the porcelain gods on Sunday.

How about Tres De Mayo?
