Arrow Riding the Dirt (Edinburg/Taskers Gap) 7/24 - July 23, 2009, 09:17 PM

Alright, first time this year, but finally taking the RM-250 back out in the dirt. I'll be going out to Warrenton tomorrow morning to fix a friends quad, then picking up another dirtbike and heading out to Taskers Gap (http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Tasker...N&hl=en&tab=wl)

Just head down 66 West, to 81 South, and you can't miss it, just thought I'd let you all know, if anyone had the urge to get out there tomorrow, we'll be out there riding all day

They have always charged people to ride there. Its $5 bucks for a wristband which can be purchased at the first gas station on the left after you take the exit off 81, if you come from another direction, I have no idea where you buy them. Just don't get caught without a wristband.

Yeah, they charged us last year when we rode there, last year it was an orange wrist band (which I just put on my bike), they were $5 at the Exxon right off of the exit

Damn, of course you are doing this the day of the wild hogs ride. Make sure to keep me posted on the next dirt ride. I have been riding dirt for years and need to get the cob webs off the YZ 400F. Let me know.

OVER? did you say "Over"? Nothing is over until we decide its over, was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell No!!!

Well now that I've finally graduated, haven't lined up a job yet, I'll be riding the dirt a lot more, plus my brother, steve on the board, might get a dirtbike as well, and if thats the case, I'll be living wherever I can ride a dirtbike haha

I'll keep you posted

I can't make this date, but I would love to ride with you guys in the near future. I have a red 05 CRF 250R currently awaiting trials tires just for Taskers Gap. Please PM me when you guys do it again.

Just because of the trials tires? I have only ridden Taskers / Edinburg Gap 3 times, the first time I broke my leg. I'm looking to ride with people who are familiar with the terrain. Let me know the next time you guys roll out there, I'm defiantly up for it. And I forgot to say in my first post, it has #33 all over it, so if I dont go with you and you see me, feel free to run me down and introduce yourself.

Sweet, mine has the number 911 on it, its a yellow RM-250, I've ridden Taskers / Edinburg countless times, we rode there a lot when we were trying to get some seat time on the Yamaha Raptor we raced in the Baja 500 last year, so I'm definitely familiar with the area!!
