Rolling Thunder or similar organized rides in the DC area - May 5, 2016, 08:40 PM

Hey everyone. After a long hiatus, I'm back in the motorcycle world. I'm checking to see if anyone is going to Rolling Thunder this year. I'm interested in going but wonder how it is.

Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Might want to rethink "massive group rides" if you've been out of riding for a while. They're chaotic and dangerous enough as is

Don't get involved in a massive group ride after being off 2-wheels for an extended period.

“Any man who tries to be good all the time is bound to come to ruin among the great number who are not good. Hence a Prince who wants to keep his authority must learn how not to be good, and use that knowledge, or refrain from using it, as necessity requires”.

Appreciate the concern for my safety and skill level. Not exactly what I was asking for though.
