Dude, you mentioned this on our ride the other day. I just might be crazy enough to do this with you. Let me in on the details.

As freaking unconfortable as this would be on my bike.... I would rather do it with a few other folks for safety reasons.

I did all the research two years ago and got a sinus infection a few days before the trip. Mapped out an Ohio run with AAA that's 1000 miles roundtrip. Iíll try to find it and post up. The key is good interstates. Since then I chatted to a person at Patriot that rents hds. She says there is no mileage limit and the one bike I looked at had a cd player and a hookup for an elec vest and such. You also get the benefit of using the rental person as your starting point witness. September would be a good time. Keep me posted.

Great there is interst. Last year I did about 900 miles in 18 hours. It 90% back roads and included a stop @ Outback for a steak and a beer in Atlanta.

I think Sept. would good weather wise. I don't know If I would want to go somewhere or make a loop. Unfortunatley you have to complete a 1000 before anything elas.

Yeah, I do not think I am going to do this on my Gixxer. I need to rebuild the top end on my GS650, I will probably do it on that bike. September gives me enough time to get her ready.

OVER? did you say "Over"? Nothing is over until we decide its over, was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell No!!!
