Sat 2/9 NOVA Ride - February 8, 2008, 06:26 PM

The weather is suppose to be in the mid 50's and sunny midday so I am going to put a few miles on the ZX-10. I am starting out from Centreville (The intersection of Rt 28 and Rt 29). I am planning on riding in the Haymarket area and pace will be dependant on the traffic. Post up with a time and spot to meet if you are interested.

You can live in your car, but you can't race your house.

I'd love to come along but can't this weekend. I was out in VA, WVa, MD around Harpers Ferry with a small group last weekend for a good ride, but the roads were dirty. Expect lots of pebbles, some sand, and some wet spots.

The roads actually aren't too bad because of the last rain we got. I still wouldn't go 100% through a blind turn yet though. I wouldn't mind coming out tomorrow for a bit, but I have two problems: my girlfriend is in town and would be on the back so I wouldn't be pushing as hard, and I am not 100% convinced that my bike is not burning oil still. Hate to get out in BF and the oil light come on. If you didn't mind stopping every so often (50 miles or so) so I could monitor my oil level I would like to go.

I am sure we will be stopping every so often either way so feel free to join if you want to ride.

Please post up if you are intending to show up, otherwise I am going to meet my g/f's Dad (new to riding) and take him on a more moderately paced ride.

Since I missed the PW ride, I'll roll up and catch you guys.... I'm pretty slow though, so if you guys are gonna set a faster pace, I'll just swing by and say hey...
