Sat 6/4 SoMd Ride ****UPDATED***** - June 2, 2011, 02:45 PM

I will be getting out early Saturday morning 9am to put in about 3-4 hrs. Need to be on time to get ahead of local traffic on more local area roads, after a hour or so we will be so burried in back roads traffic wont be an issue no matter the time.

Starting in an Accokeek location off of Rte.210

This is highly "not recommended" for Newbs and Moderate riders.

I will not be waiting for people that should not be on this ride nor trying to give the meet spot to them.............but will limit the pace to keep the group together.

If you are on this ride, you will want to be somewhat confident in your skill level. Not a necessarily fast ride but these roads will challenge you.

PM me if you are interested..............I will give you the meet spot, not fully public with this and shooting for less than 10 riders TOTAL!!!!!

******ride will be moderate, waiting at stop signs and turn offs as needed, Please be a Honest Moderate*******

You will think differently of SoMD after this ride..............

I don't speak for everybody, but your pace might be why a lot of ppl have not committed. If you slow it down a bit you might get some ppl to participate. Moderate pace will probably get some ppl.

Either way, have fun.

Ok, we can make this a wait at every Stop Sign or Turn Off Ride at moderate pace. If the group moves quicker, we will go quicker..........

Still on a PM confirm basis................I just dont want a huge group.
Want to limit to 10 or less. After you see the route, You can find it again on your own and ride it, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

AHhhh HHaaaaaaa You funny dude.......NOOB????? you spent the most time in my mirror.......

We had a good group, 5 total, and everyone was holding their own...........
I will say it was a totally different ride for me, because I had never ridden at a pace to keep the group together.......but still fun.

And you right, most dont know about SoMd..........and what you think?????? Maybe they shouldn't......LOL

Looking to do another ride in two weeks, but as everone on todays ride agrees, the group needs to be small to really hit my run hard. But its still a good run for a Noob ride, maybe a lil long, as we didnt do the whole thing today, but it can be abbreviated into sections.
