CXL-Sat Aug 15- skyline area ride 211 not the fee based route - August 10, 2009, 02:57 PM

Anyone interested in a group ride out to skyline area and cruise 211? Not race pace and not snail pace- thinking 9:30am meet someplace off of 66 and then cruise out 66 to route 55 then cut through to 211 through back roads.

anyone have the perfect route?

211 is free...until you get caught

Actually, I think skyline might be free that weekend. I know there's a Dodge Challenger meet & greet, and cruise happening there that weekend as well.

eww... Dodge Challengers suck. I'd smoke it with my NSX, but anyways if this is still going down I might be interested.

We can meet at the Shell Gas Station on Chain Bridge and Route 50- that seems to be the closest to route 66.

If you have riders who don't like to go around cars then it's not going to be fun... also the Rangers come up in front of you all of a sudden going around the corner on the other side - two things to keep in mind while riding Skyline.
