Damn, I guess playing for 45 minutes before the deadline doesn't pay off too well.

It did for me. I only played on 2 days, one with the 636 and the day of with the TZ250...that thing stops on a dime.

We'll see what happens this round.

this new track is fun. I gotta keep from hitting the walls though. I think I can knock off another 2-3 seconds with a good suspension setup and memorizing the track better.

I think everyone is going to go for the yamaha this time. Seeing results like that are hard to pass up. That long straight might be the difference for a 250 vs a 1000 though.

I think the 1000 is impossible to get a good time on for this track. I tried with a stock R1 and got a 1:42, that was only 1 lap though. I was hitting mid 160 mph at the end of the long straight with the 600 RM's and getting much better times. Also with the R1, I was staying in 1st gear all the way untill the long stright.

I think in my mind I was expecting everyone to use the class of motorcycle that was the limit. I should have maybe said instead that it was mandatory, not the limit.

Being shown up by a 250 sucks. I wouldn't have even thought to use that in a time trial with 600cc bikes. I don't think it would actually work in the real world, but I'm sure someone knows.

I guess I should have picked better tracks for each class.

I will make it up hopefully on the last track.

doing another tournament with mandatory cc restrictions would be fun I think. I was playing it that way from the beginning but this course is just about impossible to use a 1000 on and get a good time. The big bikes need to strech their legs on the long strights and wide corners.

Maybe after this is all over, we'll just start posting tracks and bikes to have to get good times on. I'll just pick a bike and a track and we'll all throw down. Nothing but posting up here though. No spreadsheeting will be involved.

I can imagine a 'busa on autumn ring mini. Or a 50cc on motegi.

I did that yesterday and got the R1 after T2 on my 2nd lap. Pick a different line and you should be able to get the bike easily.

Thought there were no race bikes allowed in this round?
