what are some alternate routes down to va beach area other than 95..anybody every went down 17 to get there
i rode halfway down 95 this weekend till 64 but friday im planning on going all the way down to the beach

Yup 17 is so much better than 95! Watch out for VSP cause there are around.

VMIGIXXER rode down about two months ago now. we did a rt. that was like 17 to 3 to 4 to 17 to 64. but you'd have to check with him.

the VSP are out in force down there, especially when you start coming up on the little towns. lucky for us every time we saw one they already had a truck pulled over for something.

if there is NO traffic on 95 (haha right!) then its faster to go that way... but its going to be about 5.5 hours in the saddle if you go the "side" roads. so try to pack light... my back was killing me with all the gear i kept in my bag!
