Answer: So we can weed out the people with attitudes like that who we wouldnt want to ride with

why not post and share rides ? it's good to learn a thing or two from a rider with a higher level of skill than ones own.

thats my 2 pennies.

I thought it was funny...I pictured a person just back from a ride proud of his now 2 inch chicken strips (down from the previous 3 inches) sitting in a chair typing as he's in his riding gear which is comprised of a tank top, shorts, and slippers...

Let's face it...anyone with REAL skill would not make comments like that.

So...I thought it was rather funny...

Hello... motorcycling is a community... a sub-society of the whole. Different minded people that come together because of a love for motorcycling, be it sport, cruiser, standard, etc. Thank god we all don't think like you... you seem young, reckless, and ignorant. Have you even accomplished (...or made an effort... for that matter) anything significant in your life that would bring you to the reality of things. A lot of these fellow motorcyclists have careers, families, homes... basically reasons not to be reckless and ignorant in their love of motorcycling.

Sorry for the outburst dot.netters... but, if what this individual says is true... then I've probably been a gina 3 times longer than he's been ridin.

Truth: Marines are the Ambassadors in Blue, they can be found in all "climes" and place.

...But, do you know how a Marine "rates" the countries and cities he's toured?

...By how easy it is to get laid, get drunk, and get in a fight.

...Go figure.

Uh....who said we wanted to ride with you?

You wanna learn from me....let's go to the track. Not safe to learn many other places. That doesn't work...we can always go dirt riding. (I'm a total retard in the dirt....spend more time bouncing off trees, the ground, and rocks.) Then I can follow.

Oh yeah...done nothing significant in life. No state parks, schools, or monuments named after me. No prisons either...so I figure it all evens out.

MudDawg: "Why do us ginas post rides ?"... read the thread title... you are aware that's in reference to INR's post.

That's why gina's post rides... u must be INR's friend... hehehe... well, there's definitely nothing that can be cleared up between the two of us... have a nice day.... hehehe

Don't mean to bash anybody...but I'm a tad blurry right now. (Dentist visit and the painkillers are gone...3 more minutes until I can leave work...argh!!!)

1. Response was to general reply....now I see subject. Figures. DOH!

1. I have no friends...unless you count Mr. Ibuprofen.

1. I really can't count.

If I was bashing on any one, it was the guy (INR) that called all dot.netters a sorry bunch of ginas for wanting to post rides...

no harm no foul... speaking of foul, I better go brush my teeth before my next class... otherwise the ladies won't wanna talk to me.... hehehe

That is the whole point of this part of the board. People want to find other people to ride with. I wish people would post more rides - not necessarily a huge group ride - just some people who want to go out and ride. But seriously. It all boils down to one thing. We all have something in common that we like. "Rides and Events" was created for people to go meet other riders and share something that we all have in common. I like going to new places. Also, finding new roads to ride. I like going on group rides and also riding by myself. Also, lets see who else is riding in my area. How many times have we seen a bunch of guys riding and you think, "I wonder where they are going? Maybe they know routes that I dont know yet."

I have posted several group rides. Not as many as I would of wanted because this summer I have been pretty busy. And I encourage people to post up more rides.

yaa... the other thread was this guy INR bashing dot.netters as a whole and how much of a hardcore rider he was. I got heated at that thread so fired back with my comments... unfortunately, I didn't copy/paste INR's comment to clarify who it was being directed at... then the moderator removed the thread altogether... which misled muddawg... but I'm assuming eveything is clear now.
