Adventure Race for LLS at Burke Lake Park, Saturday May 5th - April 19, 2012, 10:20 AM

Hey guys and gals. I am organizing an Adventure Race race in benefit of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. It's on Saturday May 5th (Cinco De Mayo) at Burke Lake Park with sign-in starting at 10:00am.

Here is a brief description of the event:
-Team-based Amazing Race-style race around Burke Lake Park.
-Teams must have four people each (age 21+).
-Goal is to race to and complete over 10 team-based challenges spread out across the park.
-There will be an after-party for the racers with the trophy, prizes, and raffles.
-Entry fee per team is $120 ($30/person). Please register in advance. All proceeds go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This is completely volunteer driven and is an official event for the Capital Area Chapter's 2012 Man & Woman of the Year campaign.

Here is the official website with more information and to register for the race:
Man & Woman of the Year - National Capital Area Chapter - Adventure Race

Feel free to email or message me as well if you have any questions:
(this email goes directly to me...just keeping it all official-looking)

This will be a fun, unique, and challenging event to participate in; and you'll be helping to fight blood cancers just by having fun!

Having a backup plan shows lack of faith in the original plan.
