These guys put on a good show if you're into this flavor of music. I might not miss this one.

Seen them roughly 7-8 years ago before trance was garbage. This $35+ for one act is insane.

WTF happened to the DC scene?

Cost of gas has increased ticket prices across the board. A lot of smaller bands have to share vans/buses now.

Dude it was long gone before the gas prices were a hot topic.

Eh, I would attribute it to the scene becoming mainstream. You had young, yuppie kids showing up at parties, not knowing shit about the scene and making shit hot. This caught the media's attention and the next thing you know, you have undercover reporters talking to these fucking idiots on camera, "Like oh my gawwwwwd. I am rolling soooo hard. Hee hee. I love this place. You can get whatever you want in here! Hey, whats your name?" Next thing you know these dipshits are on the 10 o'clock news putting all of suburbia in a panic at the thought of their kids going to these inner city warehouses for all night drug parties. Back in the mid to late 90s the D.C./Baltimore area had one of the best scenes in the country. Period. It was very hard to see it all fall to shit and still hard to see what it is today. Its funny to see younger kids today (or even older people who are just now getting into it) talk about their clubs and parties. Its like man...if you only knew.

New is always not as good as old. "Them damn whippersnappers don't know what it was like back in 'THE DAY'"...

I'm sure our parents said the same thing about the music we listen to and the things we do as well...

Thus is life... we get older, things change, bla bla bla...

I think this would be a badass show... I saw them back in 99 or so at the 40 watt club in Atlanta... that was cool... and IIRC it cost like 10$ or 15$ for that show so 5$ inflation over 10 years isn't so bad I think....

I was talking about cost of tickets, not the scene. I know nothing of this "trance" you speak of

Forget about my mom...I put on the 1st Lords of Acid album (btw, thanks ) which I have not listen to in a good 10+ years and was like WTF WAS I THINKING LISTENING TO THIS SHIT? I used to listen to that album all the time

However my mom calls all electonic music "R2D2 Music"

we are 4 partners and have been working on Palma for some time now.
I remember seeing them at nations a good while ago and it was a very fun show and the house was packed. I am very happy that I can bring them now.

I am putting Baltimore on the map with

Jen lasher this Sat aug 16th--she came and rocked the house

Infected Mushroom Aug 30th

Badboy bill on sept 13th

Benny Bennasi nov 8

All of you should really come check out Palma. we have spent a lot of money to bring it mega club style back to where buzz went for a few at redwood trust.

I have completly revamped the place and made it a very beautiful venue. waterfalls, indoor smoking quarters, Vip tables and state of the art lights including hudge versatube wall, led walls, techno beams and more. come and check us out. lets bring the energy back!

there are 4 of us in this whole project. we also have a sister club called dubai across the street from our location. we have a island pass so you can go back and forth from either club. Dubai is a very nice lounge with a new york kind of feal inside

The basment has a few tables with hooka service it is not blocked off as a vip only type of deal seperate dj booth in the basement sofa, chairs , waterfall , bar and hooka room , called the red room
