Lightbulb Making a mobile app for bikers. Need some feedback. - December 14, 2011, 08:02 PM

Hey all. I have some ideas for a mobile app and wanted to get some face-to-face feedback. Mostly need to hear from other bikers if the ideas are any good or not.

I recently got a bike this summer so I don't really know anybody else that rides, so I thought I'd look for someone here on the forums.

So, would anybody be willing to talk to me for 15 minutes or so face to face? I'll travel out to you anywhere in the DC area (DC, MoCo, NoVa), and we can just meet up at your place or a coffee shop or something. I'll even throw in a $20 gift certificate of your choosing (Battley Cycles, Best Buy, Amazon, whatever). Least I can do for helping me out.

Any day of the week is fine. Weekdays I can do anytime between 8:00-11:00. Weekends anytime is ok. Anybody interested?

I'll meet up with you for a $20 Amazon gift card...or a good quality reach around. But I'm in Woodbridge which is a bit of a hike. If interested shoot me a PM. My time is flexible.

For anyone else feeling humble and also wanting to help, since I don't know this member directly yet, be careful for thievery. Go meet somewhere NOT at your home and don't take your bike with you.

That works for me, but I'd have to meet on a Sat/Sun. I'll shoot you a PM too after I post some more.

Yeah, I can understand being skeptical. For what it's worth, you can learn a bit more about me if you google my name. Eric Palakovich Carr.

I would be happy to meet with you to articulate how the last thing on fucking earth I would need is a mobile app while I am riding a motorcycle.

I am in Arlington, VA. Look forward to discussing how texting or utilizing a mobile application increases my opportunities for death exponentially.

If you have a solution for getting EZ pass to work on a bike that does not involve me watching it bounce on the toll road every 60 days that would be cool.
